With its "tradeshow for selected brands", B&B provides the space for brands from Rocket Dog, MEL, EMU, FLY London through casual apparel by Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Generally speaking, being absent at B&B show equals being absent from the contemporary fashion world.

Winter collections are being presented during show that runs in Feb, and summer collections - in July. Last week B&B has closed it's doors again leaving us astonished by the coming summer trends.

The only problem with B&B is that without a special accreditation, no journalist will ever enter the show. A German fashion blogger who was given accreditation told me that being given accreditation equals agreeing on very rigorous conditions and rules including a total ban on the publication of photographs of products...
The only available pictures can be found at the official B&B site.

I was especially struck by the contrast between the booths and brand's policy towards the guests. Some exhibitors, for instance, wanted to keep their stalls absolutely exclusive and carefully selected guests who were granted admission to their stalls.

Contrary to the exclusive booths and fiercely guarded collections, there were also young brands and booths like the one by Tommy Hilfiger Denim. frankly speaking, I have no clue if the THD's collection was even a focus of the booth... yet the hot atmosphere, skimpy dressed models and joyful pool party compensated for the lack of actual collection.

Hot temperatures, great live acts, a festival-like atmosphere and lots of parties met the expectations for the tradeshow’s ‘superparty’ celebrating its 10th anniversary.

After visiting the B&B. we're now ready and set for the spring and summer 2012 season. In the meantime, feel welcomed to discover the upcoming fall/winter 2011/2012 trends
