I hope you didn't throw out jackets with furry coats as this Fall they'll be still in fashion.
Jackets with furry hoods won't be the most important trend of the coming fall. But the fact that they turned up in the Vera Wang's collection is significant. The collection is also cautioning against throwing out wedges and A-line skirts.

In terms of elements the collection of Vera Wang isn't discovering America, but in terms of linking them it's already really controversial and untypical. The fact that light coloured, delicate dresses were combined with heavy lined boots building the strong base, was quite surprising. The coats in sports cuts and leather gloves formed a daring contrasts which were a great advantage of the collection and a great idea for the new season.
