Best and verified by thousands of people way of doing it is by clearing your shoes with a special mixture of water and vinegar.
If you get salt stains on your leather shoes or boots in the wintertime, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar in one cup of water.

Dip a clean soft rag in the liquid, then wipe the salt stains. It's important not to rub your shoes as it may result in stains becoming even worse.

Allow to dry and your shoes should be good as new!

It is absolutely necessary to dry suede shoes in a shaded place. You've certainly noticed, that shoes on the display and those taken directly from the box have clearly other colour. The light is changing the shade of suede shoes. Therefore, you should protect your suede shoes from unnecessary irradiating.

After removing dirt you should absolutely put protective layer on shoes. Good luck!
