Editors of StyleBistro.com composed four lists embracing best models of shoes presented in New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, which were held in September and October this year.
At the narrow lead of New York hits are Altuzarra wedges with abstractly arranged ankle straps. Alejandro Ingelmo elaborated the expressions "pointed toe shoes". Colourful vision of Custo Barcelona and fairy-tale motives from Rodarte will appeal to many people. Derek Land has expanded the horizons by flat sandals. As far as Donna Karan goes, she reminded faithful to New York avant-garde, while Carolina Herrera to the high class. However my favourites were Naeem Khan, Marc Jacobs (his sandals in the photograph below) and Tommy Hilfiger.

The shoes which left a lasting impression after London Fashion Week, were most probably Burbetty's shoes with their pointed toes, super sexy platforms and stilettos. However, it is also worth mentioning the completely phenomenal olive green court shoes by Erin Fetherston, suede Roksanda Ilincic pumps and everything what Nicholas Kirkwood designed. Paul Smith remindedus of plastic shoes. The biggest surprise of the show - heels by Christian Louboutin for Jonathan Saunders didn't enrapture...

Milan Fashion Week was actually a completely different story. During just one show, it was possible to see almost everything ranging from oxford shoes to over-knee boots. Apparently, leather over-knee boots laced-up all along the upper like a corselette, were the proposal everyone who could see them will remember. I must admit - they dimmed phenomenal Prada's shoes, sensational Fendi's and, as usual beautiful, Giorgio Armani's.

There were at least few reasons to claim the Paris Fashion Week as the most important one. It's enough to mention: Chanel, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Chloeand many many more. See the whole galery atStyleBistro.com.
