For the tease I sometimes put this thesis to the test. I am checking, whether indeed the bag is always such a big need. I am trying to undermine this rule by putting the most needed things into the pocket, I am taking the complete subsistence minimum with me. Precisely the way a man would do it...

Unfortunately always, whenever I am limiting myself to the pocket - I regret it. A tool kit of the contemporary woman isn't fitting in the pocket.

It would be super, if coat's, jacket's or trousers' pockets could held: the wallet, keys and the key to the car, mini-vanity bag with powder and lipgloss, glasses in the case, the newest number of the magazine for women and the small novel, iPod, phone, peppermints, handkerchieves, ballpoint pen, kit with safety pins, etc. Untill somebody invents such big pockets, we must help ourselves with bags.
