It buzzed on the woman's portals after JCrew.com webcasted pictures of a model who looked as if she had hairy legs...
"Hairy" is a very gentle word to describe it. The girl on the picture looked as if her legs were bushy. What's it all about? Another feminist's manifest? Artistic vision? New trend? Or maybe just a Photo-shop makeover?
Nothing of the kind. It was about a poorly selling JCrew product which the company decided to show on the front page, most clearly for increasing sales.
Will it work?
I doubt it.
The product (Lace tights) comes in highly atypical pattern, which when looking from distance, looks like that:
...and a close-up:
The thick hair is only an optical illusion of openwork material, from which tights are made. When you watch close-ups of these tights, you will state that they may appeal. Put on the hand or hanged on the stand, they don't pose threat. In order to get to know the property disfiguring them it is necessary to see how they look... on the model or the mannequin. There is no other solution. And say frankly - how many tights do you try on in the shop?
I bet that open-work Lace tights at 22,50 USD sell itself great in stationary shops and positively until now the producer didn't know why in the Internet the result was much weaker.
This is the case with e-shopping - when we are buying through the Internet, we have accurate pictures of the item, often taken in sets and on mannequins, and to it - a thorough description what the given garment or shoes were made of.
