Celebrities couldn't have been absent during New York Fashion Week. Spring 2011 fashion show by Tommy Hifliger attracted a particularly huge number of men known from the screen and music scene. Such stars as Bradley Cooper (The Hangover), Neil Patrick Harris (How I met your mother), Lenny Kravitz, Jason Lewis (Sex and the city) and Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl) were present. The group of actresses and singers was represented by Jennifer Lopez, Kristen Bell (When in Rome) and Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl). Wearing clothes signed by Tommy Hifliger means joining the group of lovers of his style.

Not only the collection inspired by "twisted country club" (designer's own words) attracted so many celebrities. Using this opportunity, Hilfiger celebrated the 25th anniversary of his career.

However, coming back to very show - it was a parade of uniforms, jackets, cardigans and trench coats in vivid colours toned a bit by whites and yellows. Skirts had the high rise and dresses had additional pleats and rufflings. They vibrated with bravado between fancifully colourful and vividly checked men's clothes.

My favourite set? Bag resembling the school bag and Oxfords with the stiletto heel.

I should mention other sophisticated shoes in the urban style, which attracted looks - pumps on the stiletto heel and ones with the contrasting seam along the line of the top, which will certainly inspire European designers.
