Cleaning your shoes
Inproper maintenance may cause the shoe upper to peel. Thus it's important to clean and care for your shoes on regular basis. Every type of leather requires different maintenance.
Buckskin - In case of dirtying, one should wipe shoes with wet cloth and leave them for drying in room temperature (remember not to put them near the radiator). Such leather also needs cleaners which match the shoe colour.
velour and nubuck one should clean them only with special shoebrush using impregnation in spray. When buying such an impregnation one should take notice if it's meant for particular kind of leather. It's natural that nubuck and suede upper tend to loose colour, thus one should dry them up only in shaded places.
synthetic fabric and patent leather -should be wiped with wet cloth. after drying up, one should use suitable creams. The main difference between the patent leather and natural leather is that the first is less resistant to repeated creasing.
canvas - shoes made of canvas require special care. One cleans them with a sponge moisted with warm water with delicate washing detergents (for hand wash)
Natural leather tends to get wet in case of rain. Soaked shoes need to be dried up in room temperature (away from radiators).
We do care for your satisfaction. We believe that if you comply to those few rules you would enjoy your shoes longer.
