On January the 7th, representatives of Starbucks announced the new logo which should soon appear on all small coffee cups bought in their cafés. The new logo is limited to the mermaind only, it resigns of the circles and inscriptions. Graphic designers obviously aspired to "cleaning" of the logo, meaning the removal of large number of graphic elements in order to leave the clear and most universally recognised symbol - mermaid. Changes are connected with celebration of the 40 anniversary of the company.
