Surely, many of you will pay visits in the coming days. Even though, some will be formal, the weather is effectively discouraging us from wearing elegant pumps. I'd like to share with you some of my ideas for shoes for elegant visits during snowy days.

1. Smooth sole. Tread is preventing skidding, yet it also gathers snow. If you don't want to leave wet tracks behind you, chose shoes with smooth sole.

2. Ankle Boots. They will keep you warm better than pumps and are also more comfy that knee boots.

3. Smooth leather Because it's very easy in maintainance and you'll be able to make them clean and neat, even if you had struggled through snowdrifts just a few minutes earlier.

Remember to wipe your shoes. Leaving mud on the leather may dameg its surface.
