Rock, flouncy and ultra feminine - That's Jean Paul Gaultier collection in general.
Everything was spicy, controversial and brave during this display: both sets and models surprised the audience. We already wrote, that Jean Paul Gaultier invited Beth Ditto to take part in the show as the model. Beth is wearing the size by 28 numbers bigger than average model.
There were few more models wearing the size larger than "zero" and bigger than "2". The display proved, that between models in the Size XXS and XXL there are many really beautiful sizes. A body weight of the model isn't an authority, but a lower limit of the very capacious range.
Also wigs worn by models and make-ups, which made them resemble the first women's rock star - Joan Jet, made a huge impression. As far as dresses go, they looked as if inspired by punk style and the Moulin Rouge cabaret at the same time.
Laces, patent leather, big arm pads and corselettes, colourful one-piece costumes, trousers loose in hips with the clearly marked waist and the high rise... And to it wedges, with the almond or pointed toes, huge jewellery and sharp make up. Everything in the rock style and in brave colour palette which ruled out children's blues and sweet Paris Hilton's pinks...

Not everybody fancies laces, sharp make up and exposed underwear. However it isn't changing the fact that in the new year designers will return " to the very feminine, spicy and sexy nature of women. It is a big change after inspirations popular in the last seasons like men's fashion and nerd's style.
