How to choose a pair of perfect black pumps?

What cut should be chosen in order to flatter ones silhouette? We give few tips on how to select a perfect pair.
Before however I will proceed to advice, remember that it is always best to choose shoes which you simply like most, because only in such you will feel good, and after all, it is all about that. Trying to hide your imperfections may end up with you wearing shoes that instead of making you feel confident will remind you about your shortcomings and also wont suit you. Choose from among ones which go along with your style.

Before reading this text, I'd advice going through all black shoes available (here), choosing the ones you like, and then considering which will suit your body shape.

Have you already chosen ones you fancy?

...I wont proceed if you're not done with that...

OK, let's start.

If you have full ankles avoid ankle straps, as they will make them look even bigger. Choose shoes exposing the midfoot instead, ore ones with a strap above the open heel. It should effectively turn the attention away from ankles, and optically extend your legs.

If you have legs that are rather short, avoid T-shaped straps at the instep, as they shorten legs, and may also make legs look more corpulent. The best you can do is to buy open toe or peep-toe shoes. If you consider your legs to be very short, go for heels in neutral colour - they will extend and slenderized them.

If you want to extend your legs, select shoes with a pointed-toe. After all, pointed-toes all always in fashion. Also if you don't like shoes in such fashion you can also think of almond toes.

Those with wider feet wont feel comfortably in them. I can say it from my own experience, therefore I only put on pointed-toes when I do not have to wear them for a long time, and on occasions when I mostly care for my appearance rather than comfort. It's easy to figure out than I do not wear them very often. It's better to dance and be active through the whole evening rather that sit and look beautiful in fine, but inconvenient shoes.

If similarly to me, you have wider feet, I recommend rounded toes. They refer to charming vintage style and feet look smaller in them.
