The world's warest shoes

In comparison to last year's model, they are much prettier. Moreover, the 2009 model had only single scale heating, thus Columbia BUGATHERMO from 2009 cost 250 USD and they collected very unflattering opinions claiming that the heating is impalpable and is localised exclusively at the metatarsus part of the sole, rather than by fingers which needed it most (read the review).
Heated shoes are the future, after all, how many socks is it possible to squeeze into the boot? However, I'm a bit reluctant to spend 325 USD in order to check if the faults of 2009 model have been corrected. If somebody of you will have the chance to test them, let me know, whether promises of the world's warmest boots are true and whether it is worthwhile to invest in them.
