The name of Bread & Butter is kind of deciteful as it's the biggest event of this kind in Europe!
Three days of fashion feast for all who love clothes shoes and various accessories. 650 brands were exhibited at 355 hectares of the former airport Tempelhof in Berlin.

These numbers sound impressive something but the real bomb was to partake in such a great event. That's how we can briefly summarize this year's fashion trade fairs that took place between July 7 and July 9 at the former airport in Berlin.

For couple of days, Berlin turned into an European capital of fashion. No wonder, since the attractions the organizers offered brought not only investors and traders, but also the editors of well-known fashion magazines and bloggers. As the event has been prepared in every detail, it could easily compete with those organized in Paris or Milan.

The motto of trade fairs was "Premier League". 650 carefully selected brands appeared. Every company showed us new propositions for spring and summer 2011. In fact, the process of clothes making is not as easy as it may seem, and many companies create new collections even 2 years before the season.

Stands were divided thematically into: Sport&Street - with phenomenal Wesc, Slazenger and New Era; Street Fashion - an avant-garde propositions such brands as Iron Fist or Khujo; Fashion Now presenting the hottest trends from all over the World; Style Society; Denim Base; Urban Superior Women, Urban Superior Men and L.O.C.K.

Kids Camp was this fairs novelty. Organizers have realized that this sector is growing stronger in the market, thus they've decided to hit this target. It was an important step, proving the organizers bravery and open-mindedness. Brands specialising themselves in Kids fashion were gathered in three fabulous, colourful, circus like tents.

Not surprisingly, most interesting for us were stands with shoes
The visual side of the stalls was amazing. Lonsdale brand welcomed us at a boxing ring ,Replay invited us in the Garden of Eden. Both, popular brands and new ones, tried to attract visitors in many ways. Visitors could even eat special dishes which were connected with the style of the stall. American Vintage, for example, was giving visitors home made apple pie and raspberries. Menu was referring to the vintage style of the collection: dresses, woollen bags and stretched sweaters.

Every stall had different topic, different style and different music.

If You like fashion the same as bread and butter, then You have a chance to take part in the next winter edition which will take place between 19th to 21st of January 2011. See You there!
